I first purchased one at a garage sale for about a hundred bucks back in I used it in a custom cabinet shop for years and it held up with the best of the Delta and Walker Turner jointers. Many of the old cast iron jointers are still in use today. Adjustable for skewing when surface jointing figured hardwood. We just puchased this from a local customer who was very picky about which machines he ran in his woodshop. The machine comes from a dry environment so the inner base is clean. To the best of my knowledge, and after looking it over carefully, I have found no cracks or chips in the iron. Knobs, screws, nuts and bolts appear to be the originals. The unit is very clean but is in need of a switch to make it functional.
